SHARE is a simple, practical approach to promote mutual understanding and good relations between people of different faiths and perspectives by using texts, symbols and art. It involves a structured process for listening to and exploring each others' texts and wisdom and sharing personal and spiritual responses. SHARE aims to inspire people to reflect on how to make meaningful changes in their communities and lives.
Who can SHARE?
SHARE doesn't require theological expertise and can be used by groups of people from any of the world faiths and none. It is suitable for different community settings, e.g.: schools, inter-faith groups, churches and other faith groups, places of work etc.
Who is behind SHARE?
SHARE is a project conducted by St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace (London, UK) in collaboration with a network of organisations and volunteers from different faiths. It draws on our experience of using other text-based approaches to interfaith dialogue, such as Tools for Trialogue (Three Faith Forum) and Scriptural Reasoning (Cambridge Interfaith Programm), and seeks to complement these approaches.
